A Simplified Camping Experience
In an age where RVs often resemble rolling luxury homes, the DayTripper offers a refreshing return to the basics of camping. Designed as a compact, towable bedroom without all the extras, this small sleeper gives nature enthusiasts a simple and comfortable camping alternative. Light enough to be towed by almost any vehicle, its 12-foot length and 1000-pound weight make it an accessible option for adventurers looking to minimize hassle and maximize their connection with the outdoors.
Designed for Adventurers
The DayTripper embraces the classic teardrop silhouette, vibrant colors and panoramic windows with a stronger focus on a minimalistic and inviting space. This model introduces a significant design shift by eliminating the traditional tailgate galley in favor of a spacious tailgate entryway, enhancing the cabin’s openness and simplicity. This not only lightens the trailer but also increases the usable interior space, making it more versatile and comfortable for campers.
Effortless Versatility
What the DayTripper lacks in galley features, it makes up in leg space. The cabin measures 92 inches, giving campers an additional 14 inches of liveable floor space compared to the classic Vistabule. This extra space is ideal for taller campers and comfortably accommodates your furry companions. This tiny camper also features 44 inches of headroom, an additional inch over the Vistabule. The interior base package includes a mattress, remote-controlled two-way MaxxFan, ventilation ports, headboard cabinetry, ceiling and hatch lights, a tongue jack, and Zamp solar hookups. The absence of a built-in power system nods to the growing trend toward portable power solutions, allowing owners to choose the setup that best fits their needs.
A New Perspective On Camping
Perhaps the most iconic feature of the DayTripper small teardrop camper is the oversized skylight, carried over from the signature Vistabule design. This, along with left and right windows, gives campers a nearly 360-degree view. With its new tailgate design, secured by two interior hook latches that can easily be pushed out with a foot from the inside, enjoying access to the outside has never been easier. The light camper is mounted on a sturdy aluminum chassis and skinned in painted aluminum. Additional options include eye hooks for pet leashes, a rear hitch table and an awning/tent system integrated into the tailgate.
